Do you need a base station radio but they are too expensive?

The M15B is Mentor Radio’s lowest cost base radio. Based on the highly rugged Mentor Radio model M15 mobile radio.

Why pay for more power than you actually need?  Radio cost is directly related to the power of the transmitter. To choose the correct type of radio, you need to consider your maximum transmit range.  Most base radios transmit 10 to 25 watts or more. If you’re only planning on talking to planes on the ground of on final, you may be able to save some cost of a base unit by installing a M15B.

Do you already have a M15 spare radio? Then save even more and get the 1101769 base unit. Simply connect your M15 and you’re ready to go.

Do you need to operate via remote control?   No problem.  The M15 can be configured to interface with remote control capability. Both the local extension controllers and Tone Remote Controls can be connected to the M15B. Separate custom cables are required for either local extension or tone remote interfaces.

When purchasing the M15B for use with either remote control, order the M15 with the M15-Opt3 option installed plus the 1101719 base power supply. Please specify which remote control interface you need when ordering.
