Remote Controls

Mentor Radio offers a wide selection  of base station accessories to choose from to allow remote control operation.

Several interface options are available between local extension and tone remote controls.  We recommend you review your options before deciding on a particular implementation.  Discuss your install/modification plans with our technicians and engineers to help get the right equipment for the job.

Four basic styles of controllers are available for tone remote and local extension interfaces listed below.  All the LE series products are local extension types and the TR series is the tone remote types.

LE-10 1101721 The LE-10 generates discrete signals which connect directly into the radio for remote control.  Multiple controllers may be wired in parallel with an intercom function between all controllers. $215

 Tone remote control unit.  Connect this unit to a dedicated phone line (normal analog leased line or a regular two wire phone wire) to allow any length of remote operation. $394

LE20

 The "20" series of controllers are build for the dispatcher with a  pedestal style desktop microphone and base unit with a built in speaker. Call

LE40 Great for operators who don't want to pick up a telephone to talk on the radio and still want speak softly and still have a private conversation. Call

 For use with remote control unit model TR-10, Mentor Radio part number 1101718. This is a single channel 2-wire adapter.  Note price includes case and adapter cable for specified radio. $450
2 channel tone remote

 1101837 TTP2 For use only with remote frequency selection option  installed.  This allows changing channels on a two channel unit  from the remote controller.  Also requires using a 1101718-2 controller. Includes case and custom adapter cable to connect tone remote adapter to customer specified Mentor Radio base radio unit. $543
